Hello friends, and happy weekend again. 🙂
This was a short week for us, as we are headed up to Montreal for three days to celebrate a friend’s wedding. I can’t wait to eat poutine, listen to jazz, and sip wine in cafes, listening to whispers of French in the background.
Since Montreal is six to seven hours from New York, we equipped ourselves with some fun things to do on the ride and broke up the drive by leaving Thursday after work and spending the night in Saratoga Springs.
If you haven’t been, Saratoga is a cute historic town three hours north of the city with a famous racetrack. We got up early this morning to go for a run and explore the town before the last leg of the journey.
I can’t wait to get there — this will be my first trip to Canada!
Have you been?
Here are a few posts from around the web.
Solo travel can be great, but sometimes you want a partner in crime. Here’s a site that will help you find one.
I could benefit from a few of these this summer.
THIS is truly more important than money.
A good travel outfit is crucial. How do you feel about orange? 😉
Something tells me that after this weekend, I’m going to need this.
